Kent began coaching in 2009 in conjunction with Assessment Center facilitation with Manager, Director and VP-level corporate leaders as well as emerging early-career leaders.

Kent’s former clients span across both operations and corporate functions in companies such as Cargill, Inspire Brands, General Mills, UHG, Alina Health, and the Boy Scouts of America.

Kent enjoyed over 9 years as a highly successful consultant at PDI Ninth House (acquired by Korn Ferry in 2013) where he specialized in Assessment Centers, Classroom Leadership Development Facilitation, Succession and High Potential Consulting. He then spent over 9 years in internal HR roles across Leadership Development, Talent Management and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Most recently, Kent was the Talent Manager for General Mills’ North American Retail Sales, North American Food Service, and their Strategy & Growth function where he supported Succession and Development Planning for High Potential Leaders.

Kent specializes in practical, forward-momentum focused coaching across a breadth of Leadership Development, Executive Performance, Talent management, and DEI challenges. Kent’s external consulting and internal business experience allow him to bring a broad range of expertise together with on-the-ground knowledge of how business challenges are solved which enables him to quickly and authentically connect with leaders. Kent specializes in helping leaders who are in transition, those interested in honing their leadership skills, solving talent and business problems while building stronger self-awareness capabilities.
