Prior to joining Lilly, Pat was the Division I Associate Head Basketball Coach at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. In this role for ten years, Pat led his teams to two NCAA tournaments and four NIT tournaments. He also served as a faculty member in the Bradley University Foster School of Business teaching Organizational Development. Pat has previously been on the Board of Directors for Chaucie’s Place whose mission is to generate awareness of and prevent child abuse through its education and prevention programs.
Pat is certified in several globally recognized organizational and personal assessments including holding executive coaching certifications with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Pat has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elmhurst University, a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University of Chicago and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. Pat’s PhD dissertation explored the relationship between leader authenticity and trust and his first book was published in 2020 entitled, “The Power of Genuine Leadership” – How Authentic Leaders Earn Trust.
